Predesign and Price Quote

With the help of the client’s projects, ideas, sketches, and images, we develop a “plan” for the design that reflects the client’s wants and needs. With this information, we can do a reasonable estimate.

Information Needed

The client will submit a completed Composites Design Project Form along with the following details:

  1. Changes or alterations to the Prototype Floor Plan, as drawn.
    Standardization at the regional level (Maximum measurements to build, Occupation index, Max. height, etc.)
  2. Images of the potential construction location.
  3. A north arrow and lot boundaries are shown on a topographical plan (also included: elevations, setbacks, the placement of any wells or septic tanks, and the placement of any necessary utilities) (sanitary sewers, water, gas, electric, etc.)

Initial Design Concept

After you approve the pricing, deliverables, and timetable, we will begin designing your personalised home. Custom design deliverables include these:

A-1 Plan for a Diminished Start (includes in slab Plumbing rough-in dimensions)
A-2 Overview of the Main Floor (includes interior Floor Plan layout)
A-3 External Perspectives
A-4 Sections of the Structure
 A-5 The Standard Wall Plane and Its Components
E-1 Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Plans (If Necessary for Permitting)

Additional Documents

Client must provide local building department-required engineering and state-stamped construction documentation. Construction Documents take 4–6 weeks to complete.

This Agreement excludes drawings and reports that may be needed for Building Permit approval or construction, such as:

  • Site Plan
  • Soil and Erosion Sedimentary Control Plan
  • Health Department Reports (Water and Septic)
  • Land Disturbing Permit (Pond or constructed Wetlands)
  • Structural and / or Mechanical Engineering Plans or stamps
  • Planning and Resource Consent Applications
  • Written Specifications
